ABOUT ME
Aloha! As you may know by now, my name is Alexis Hoover, and this is my Book Blogging website. I am a full time student, as of now, and I am from South Carolina. I have been obsessed with reading for five years now, and created this website to share a variety of books with book lovers like myself. I started reading off of an app called Wattpad (you totally have to comment below if you read off of this too!), which really is the reason I first started to read in the first place. My first EVER book that I read on my own (of course I have read books previously before this, but this one I actually paid attention to) was called "The Trouble With Half a Moon" by Danette Vigilante. I don't even remember what it was about, but that was the first moment were I thought, "wow...reading isn't that bad." However, it wasn't until my sophomore year in high school until I started enjoying and reading a lot. I have came along way since then, and I think of reading more as a passion than a hobby now. I wish the whole world loved reading and could enjoy all the freaking feels that a story can bring! "Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book (John Green, The Fault In Our Stars)". That is why I created this website. I wanted something were people could rant, share their book interest, and bond over something so amazing! I started reading in a dark place in my life, and it has definitely changed and helped me throughout the years.
